I tried to get this part from the original manufacturer (Sears). They sent me the wrong part twice. A-1 had a well organized catalog with a clear picture of the part. The price was reasonable thar part was correct and the shipping was immediate! One of the best on-line shopping experiences I have ever had!

I needed to change the shipping address after I had completed my order. I emailed A-1 Appliance, they responded extremely fast with a phone number for me to call. They were very friendly and helpful. My merchandise was received promptly. I will definitely order from them again. I ordered a water filter for my GE refrigerator. I found that the part number was different from the original part and only on A-1's site did they indicate that I needed to purchase an adapter for the filter for the new one to work. I looked all over town for a light bulb to fit my GE Spacemaker microwave. No one had it. I went to GE's web site and still had no luck finding the part. A local dealer gave me GE's phone number and I called them. They had the bulb, but it was going to cost me over $20 to get a single one. I had no problems ordering the parts. It was nice to be able to tell them the make and model of the appliance, so they could double check that the parts would work. The other sites I looked at had vague descriptions and you could not tell them the make/model of the appliances for which you were ordering for. I just got off the phone with you. I ordered the timer for my Whirlpool washer but I was having trouble removing it. I did like you suggested (sprayed the ring with some lubricating oil) and as we hung up, the thing slid right of with almost no effort. I prefer smaller shops, unfortunately, the smaller shops I visited on the web gave phone numbers to call. When I called these numbers, they were always out on call. Therefore, the parts catalogue beat all these other appliance merchants hands down! At A-1, my parts request was fast and easy (the key to my purchase.)

Finding and ordering the part was very easy. The problem I had was that they shipped the wrong part to me. However, the toll free number they had was answered in the evening and the gentleman who helped me was pleasant and competent. A-1 corrected the problem on the spot at no additional cost or inconvenience (such as returning the incorrect part). I received the correct part two days later as they had promised on the phone call. The bottom line is that will utilize A-1 again if I have any future needs.

Exactly as promised. Item delivered quicker than I expected for cross border shipping. Cost of item and S&H was the main reason I bought online versus locally, and the total cost worked out to less, even with Revenue Canada applying the GST/PST and $5CAD handling fee. Email communication was quick, precise, and informative. One very important point. I asked if a lesser cost part would work in place of one costing more, and they advised me "yes". That shows me that they are not trying to upsell me, but only to sell me the part or product that I need. Honesty is important, and that they are. Overall, I would deal with A-1 Appliance again for my future appliance repair needs. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
