Here are our most popular dryer thermostat and fuse kits for electric and gas dryers. The one-time non-resettable thermal fuse is often not available for purchase by itself because if the high temperature limit thermostat near it is working correctly, the thermal fuse should never go out. A typical high limit thermostat shuts the element off at around 250°F while the thermal fuse is set to blow at around 330°F (those temperatures are just to give a general idea about how the two work together). As always, the best way to identify the correct dryer thermostat kit for your dryer is to search for it with your dryer's model number. The model number is usually located on a tag just inside the dryer door.
