DRYER ELEMENT W/STATS & FUSE
The hardest part of fixing a dryer is actually getting into it and, of course, diagnosing which part is failing. At A-1 Appliance Parts, we've got you covered! If your Whirlpool, Roper, Maytag or Sears Kenmore brand dryer uses dryer element 279838 (you can check with your model number above or call us to be sure), then this kit will cover all your bases. It comes with a new element and the thermal fuse and thermostat closest to the element itself. And it includes the little white, plastic thermal fuse (notorious for going out) and a new operating thermostat (the 4-wire thermostat mounted on the blower housing). As with all dryer repairs, be sure to unplug the dryer before doing anything inside it and clean out all lint inside the dryer and in the dryer venting.
