Whirlpool Thermostat SL7503
Refrigerator defrost bi-metal thermostat for Whirlpool part number 4387503, WP4387503. This defrost thermostat was used in many Whirlpool and Sears Coldspot branded refrigerators. It is located in the freezer section on the evaporator coil assembly and it shuts off the defrost heaters when the temperature reaches approximately 62°F and resets when the temperature reaches approximately 48°F. It has two wires that connect inline with the heater and a clip on the body of the thermostat that allows it to latch onto the evaporator tubing.

This thermostat requires the use of wire nuts which are not provided.
