GE MWFP WATER FILTERS 2 PACK

The new MWF GE® SmartWater™ replacement water filter is an improved version of the GWF water filter. This new MWF water filter reduces more waterborne contaminates such as Mercury, Toxaphene, p-dichlorobenzene, Carbofuran, Alachlor, and Benzene. It also reduces lead, cryptosporidium and giardia. The slim design of the MWF allows for easy installation and removal.

The MWF GE Smartwater water filter was designed to work with the high pressure water system included in the 2001 and newer GE SmartWater refrigerators. GE recommends the use of only the genuine MWF water filter in its high pressure water system refrigerators. MWF is backward compatible with all other GE SmartWater refrigerators prior to 2001 and GE Water by Culligan refrigerators. With the use of an adapter, MWF can be used on refrigerators originally containing FXRC water filters. The adapter, previously included in the GWF01, can be ordered using the part number ADAPTER.
