Samsung dryer heating element complete assembly DC97-14486A

This is the complete element assembly including the two thermostats mounted on the housing- thermal fuse DC96-00887A and high limit thermostat DC47-00018A

If you just need the element wire assembly inside (stretched and mounted on aluminum), order # HHCDC47-00019A. If you just need the wire itself, HHCDC4700019AC.

If this element is bad the dryer will still run but it won't produce any heat. You can check to see if it's bad with an ohm meter testing for continuity or you can remove it and look for a break in the wire. When this heating element fails, you should be able to find a spot where the wire physically burned in two.
