Ice Machine Cleaner - Nickle Safe

ICE MACHINE CLEANER -NICKEL SAFE
8 oz of nickel safe ice machine cleaner from Vapco.

NICKEL GUARD – A non-foaming, non-fuming cleaner that quickly removes scale from stainless steel and nickel-plated steel. It contains a blend of organic and inorganic acids that remove limescale. Recommended for use in all makes of ice machines. Meets USDA standards.

Directions:
1. Turn off the ice machine.
2. Drain water reservoir and refill with fresh water.
3. Add 3 ounces of Nickel Guard per gallon of water.
4. Start the water circulating pump only and run 15-30 minutes.
5. Use a brush to apply the cleaner to the scaled surface not adequately contacted by circulating the solution. If the scale is extra heavy, drain and repeat the cleaning process.
6. After the scale has been removed, drain and flush at least 2 to 3 times.
7. For stainless steel ice machine drums, add 8 ounces of cleaner per one gallon of water in a plastic container and brush the solution on the scaled areas.
8. After cleaning, flush all surfaces thoroughly with fresh water.
