WATER FILTER (SAME AS IMWF,ICE2)
The F2WC9I1 water filter is Whirlpool's replacement for older filter numbers W10480323, W10565350, and GE's IMWF ice maker filters. It is in a black housing now (used to be white). This everydrop® Ice Filter is used in 50 LB. Ice Makers. This NSF certified filter reduces chlorine taste and odor and scale build up. Replace every 2,000 gallons (7571 liters) or 9 months to ensure clean safe drinking water. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users water. Max. Filtered Water Flow (gpm): 0.5 Filter Life: 6 Months Filter Media: Carbon Block Operation Water Pressure (psi): 40 min. - 120 max. NSF 42: Yes Rated Capacity: 300.0 gal This water filter cartridge is located on the right hand side of the ice machine controls. The filter cartridge should be replaced every nine months when the replacement indicator light turns on or sooner if the flow of water to the ice machine decreases. Protect from freezing by removing the cartridge when ambient temperatures are expected to drop below 40°F (4.4°C). The ice machine should not be installed in an environment that exceeds 100°F or drops below 32°F. This water filter also replaces Whirlpool and GE models ICE2, F2WC9I1, W10565349A, P6RFWG2K and IMWF.
